Course Overview
In this course students will receive instruction and practice in planning, implementing and evaluating an individualized fitness program. Students will focus on understanding the basic concepts of flexibility, cardiovascular and muscular endurance and strength through instruction and practice. The emphasis of this course will be on lifetime related fitness.
Students are expected to demonstrate mastery in each of the following major areas:
1. Participates regularly in physical activity
2. Effort and personal best on activities
3. Sportsmanship including teamwork, cooperation, leadership and safety
4. Knowledge and application of content and concepts
